Fabricated components such as trusses, glulam, I-beams, LVL, LSL and nailplated members may be used where designed to AS 1720.1 and made and used to the relevant standards; where no standard applies, their use depends on the regulatory authority and the manufacturer's requirements, which may add support, restraint or blocking.
