Every aged care organisation sets up an IPC system, an overall program for preventing, reducing and controlling infection, as part of its clinical governance model, structured on risk management and the hierarchy of controls and sized to its setting, people and services. Its core components are IPC policies and guidelines, education and training, audits and feedback, and infection monitoring (not a core component for home and community services). Staffing, the care environment and equipment shape how it is applied.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
