Subject to the r 342 exemptions, no person may carry out construction work at a workplace without holding a current construction induction card. This duty rests on the individual worker (see Act s 41). A card stops being current if the holder has gone 2 consecutive years without doing construction work (r 349), or if the Authority cancels it (rr 350 and 351).
