Employers and self-employed persons must hold a copy of the SWMS until the high risk construction work it covers is complete. The retained copy is what the work is checked against under r 327, and what must be reviewed and revised under r 328 when the work changes or controls fail. Maximum penalty: 60 units (individual), 300 units (company).
