Before construction work starts, the project's principal contractor must draw up a co-ordination plan for health and safety containing everything r 336 requires. The duty applies to projects costing $350 000 or more (r 332). Having the plan in place from the start lets every contractor, worker and HSR be briefed on it under r 337 before they begin. Act compliance is through s 26.
