Victoria Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 s88: s 88 Authorised representative must announce entry and show the permit

As soon as an authorised representative enters a place under s 87, he or she must take every reasonable step to notify, and present the entry permit for inspection, to the employer (or the person managing the work at the place for the employer) and, if DWG members are affected by the entry in any way, to their HSR. The notice has to follow the Authority's written approved form and must describe the suspected contravention. Employers should record the notice received.
