A supplier or warrantor that sells a service contract, in addition to or instead of a written warranty, discloses the contract's terms and conditions fully, clearly and conspicuously in simple and readily understood language. A service contract is distinguished from a warranty by being bought for consideration beyond the product price (16 CFR 700.11).
