A warrantor giving a written warranty on a consumer product clearly and conspicuously labels it a 'full (statement of duration) warranty' (for example 'full one-year warranty') where it meets the federal minimum standards of section 2304, or a 'limited warranty' where it does not. The designation duty for limited warranties applies to products actually costing the consumer more than 10 dollars. Statements of general customer satisfaction policy with no specific limitations are outside the duty.
