US Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) - Title III Digital Accessibility 36.201(a): 28 CFR 36.201(a) No discrimination in full and equal enjoyment, including goods and services offered online

No individual may be discriminated against on the basis of disability in the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages or accommodations of a place of public accommodation by a private entity that owns, leases (or leases to) or operates it; landlord and tenant are both covered and may allocate responsibility by contract (36.201(b)). DOJ's position is that this reaches the goods, services, privileges and activities a public accommodation offers on the web; courts are divided on websites of businesses without a physical location and on whether a nexus to a physical place is needed.
