Where remote or home working is needed, risks are understood and mitigated under a remote working policy, including physical storage of devices in transit and at rest in homes, hotels and public places. Layered measures such as secure configuration, encryption, secure containers and tethering protect devices and connections, and users prevent overhearing and overlooking through positioning and privacy screens. A personnel risk assessment for remote working is encouraged.
