UK Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) 24: Reports of inspections

What does 24 require?

Where an inspector of an excavation, cofferdam or caisson is not satisfied it is safe, they inform the person they act for before the end of the shift and within 24 hours give a report with the prescribed details; the person in control ensures this is done; reports are kept on site until work ends and for three months after, and provided to HSE on request (one report per seven days for routine shift inspections).
