SQF Code Edition 9 - Safe Quality Food 2.5.3: 2.5.3 Corrective and Preventative Action (Mandatory)

The responsibility and methods for deciding on, carrying out and checking corrective and preventive action, including root cause identification and resolution of breaches of critical food safety limits and other deviations from food safety requirements (which may include complaints, audit and inspection non-conformances, recalls and withdrawals, and product or equipment that does not conform), are documented and implemented (2.5.3.1); records of investigations, root cause analysis, resolution, corrections and preventive actions are kept (2.5.3.2).
