Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003
Part 2: consumer actions, undertakings, court orders and cancellation rights – Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003

Singapore Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 10: No knowing abetting, aiding, permitting or procuring of a supplier's unfair practice

What does 10 require?

A person who knowingly abets, aids, permits or procures a supplier's unfair practice may be restrained by injunction on CCCS's application, with orders to publish the injunction, reimburse CCCS's publication costs and, for individuals, to report Fifth Schedule events for up to five years (extendable to ten). This reaches directors and managers behind an errant supplier, and third parties such as landlords, platforms, payment processors or marketing agencies that knowingly enable the practice.
