The facility sets up a system to document and keep current its OSH procedures and practices and to log and follow up every OSH matter. The documentation includes the policy and objectives, a list of the key people responsible for OSH with their roles, responsibilities and contact details, a list of the major OSH risks arising from the facility's activities with the arrangements to prevent and control them, the procedures, guidelines and other internal OSH documents, and records such as lessons learned, case studies and local or international practice as appropriate. It is easy to identify and follow, in whatever format suits the facility, written clearly in the languages most used with Arabic as the main language, reviewed and updated regularly, and disposed of or withdrawn from circulation after expiry (at least two years). The facility keeps the OSH records that help identify potential harm, address problems early and show legal compliance: work-related injuries, ill health, illness and accidents; workers' health and the risks they face with an overview of the work environment; activity-specific risks and the measures taken; audit and review results; work permits, licences and certificates; OSH roles and responsibilities; minutes of the OSH committee and other major OSH meetings; service provider and contractor data; training conducted with attendance and feedback; and any other records the regulation or legislation generates. Workers may review the OSH records relating to their work environment, with confidentiality protected as appropriate. Applies at the intermediate and highest levels (not required at the lowest level).
