Regulation on the European Health Data Space (EHDS) 75: Designate a national contact point for secondary use and connect it to HealthData@EU

Articles 75 and 76: each Member State designates a national contact point for secondary use (possibly the coordinating access body), notified by 26 March 2027, which acquires the technical capability to connect to HealthData@EU, meets its requirements and specifications (implementing act due 26 March 2027), facilitates cross-border access and acts as joint controller of its HealthData@EU processing, the Commission being processor; research infrastructures may join as authorised participants and, from 26 March 2035, third countries and international organisations may join on equivalent terms; cross-border registries are handled by the access body where the holder or network coordinator is registered.
