Before 1 May each year a registered valuer must pay the prescribed roll fee for the following financial year; payment after 30 April attracts the prescribed late fee; and if the roll fee and late fee are not paid before 30 June the registration is cancelled and the name removed from the register (restoration is available under section 40 on payment of the restoration fee). Section 36A allows the roll fee to be paid for up to five years in advance.
