Principles for Doing Business at Lloyd's P13.2: 13.2 Inclusive behaviour with zero tolerance for inappropriate behaviour

Inclusive behaviour is fostered with zero tolerance for inappropriate behaviour. Baseline: policies setting behaviour expectations (grievance, bullying and harassment, drugs and alcohol) evidenced and enforced; expectations communicated (code of conduct, handbook); disciplinary, grievance and investigation processes that are timely and fair; due diligence on new hires aligned to behaviour expectations; leaders role-model zero tolerance; support for employees involved in incidents; available training on inclusive behaviour and mandatory diversity and inclusion training. Higher levels add behavioural standards in supplier contracts, mandatory inclusive behaviour training, performance linked to behaviour, a behavioural framework, trend analysis and proactive employee relations.
