What does P35 require?

A hoist never carries workers and materials together. Workers' hoists (which raise or lower people or materials within a fixed hoistway) are governed by CSA Z185-M87 (the personnel hoist safety code) and material hoists by CSA Z256-M87 (the material hoist safety code), both adopted as the regulations the Director and officers apply.
