At least three feet of unobstructed horizontal clearance is kept between the rotating upper structure of mechanical equipment and anything beside it, with barricades isolating the hazardous area where that clearance cannot be kept; to protect workers from the pinch point between a rotating superstructure and its undercarriage, DANGER STAY CLEAR signs are conspicuously posted on all sides, personal property, tools and materials are not stored where retrieval would expose a worker to the pinch point, workers approach the pinch point only after informing the operator and receiving acknowledgement, with all equipment stopped while anyone is in the area, and a warning barricade goes up when a task puts a person inside three feet of the swing radius, subject to the rule's exemptions for high or elevated superstructures and right-angled crawler positions.
The graph holds this control, the 0 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
