The maximum deposit for a kit home (a payment on account before any part of the kit is delivered) is 10% of the contract price. A person must not demand or receive a larger deposit or enter a contract entitling them to one. Regulations may set how the price is worked out. Maximum penalty 1,000 penalty units for a corporation and 200 otherwise.
