What does SE-21 require?

The programme or project manager selects a technical data management process that the Engineering Technical Authority has approved and puts it into practice: its activities, requirements, guidelines and documentation are tailored and customised for managing the technical data the technical effort generates and uses. The process plans for, acquires, accesses, manages, protects and uses data of a technical nature over the whole life cycle, capturing trade studies, cost estimates, analyses, reports and the other information that matters.
