What does SE-09 require?

The programme or project manager selects a logical decomposition process that the Engineering Technical Authority has approved and puts it into practice: its activities, requirements, guidelines and documentation are tailored and customised for decomposing the validated technical requirements of the product layer. The process improves understanding of the requirements and their functional, behavioural, performance and temporal relationships, producing logical decomposition models and the derived requirements for the lower levels and for the design solution.
