NASA NPR 7123.1D Systems Engineering Processes and Requirements SE-15: Identify and implement a product transition process

What does SE-15 require?

The programme or project manager selects a product transition process that the Engineering Technical Authority has approved and puts it into practice: its activities, requirements, guidelines and documentation are tailored and customised for transitioning end products to the customer or user at the next higher product layer. The process moves a verified and validated end product to the next level for integration, or the top-level product to its end user, in the form the life cycle phase calls for and with the documentation, training and enabling products it needs.
