Malaysia National Guidelines on AI Governance and Ethics (2024) C3.4: Sector players: measure with responsible AI indexes and carry out risk and impact assessment, including the RAIIA tool

What does C3.4 require?

Those who design, develop, provide or supply AI should assess the risks and impacts of their products and services so that privacy, security, fairness, accountability and similar concerns are identified, evaluated and dealt with, and combine them with index measurement (metrics for each of the seven principles, such as fairness and bias scores, incident and fatality rates, privacy metrics and hybrid metrics) to evaluate responsible deployment. The RAIIA impact assessment template described in the appendix is offered for this purpose, with example indexes in the attachments.
