What does RR54 require?

Selective calling uses a DSC system in accordance with Rec. ITU-R M.541-11 and optionally the latest M.493 (54.1, 54.2); the MF/HF automatic connection system using DSC should follow the latest M.541 and M.493 (54A.1, 54A.2).
