Port-state inspectors may require the ship station licence and operators' certificates, inspect installations where the licence is missing or irregularities appear, inform the flag government without delay and report in writing (49.1 to 49.6); Member States do not impose stricter technical and operating conditions on foreign ship stations than the Regulations and applicable international agreements (49.7); emission frequencies are checked by the responsible inspection service (49.8).
