ITU Constitution: execution of the instruments and special provisions for radio – ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards

ITU Radio Regulations and Space Security Standards CS6: CS Article 6: Execution of the instruments of the Union

What does CS6 require?

Member States are bound to apply the Constitution, the Convention and the Administrative Regulations (the Radio Regulations among them) in every telecommunication office and station they establish or operate that engages in international services or can cause harmful interference to other countries' radio services, save the military installations Article 48 exempts; and they must take the steps needed to impose the same observance on the operating agencies they authorize to run such stations (CS 37 and 38). CS Article 4 makes the Radio Regulations binding on all Member States, with the Constitution prevailing over the Convention and the Convention over the Regulations.
