Italy Workers' Statute (Law 300/1970) Art. 9: Art. 9 Let workers' representatives check health and safety compliance

Workers, through their representatives, have the right to check the application of the rules on the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases and to promote research, development and implementation of all measures suitable to protect their health and physical integrity. The employer enables that oversight (today alongside the workers' safety representative under D.Lgs. 81/2008).
