ISO/IEC 38500:2024 5.8.2: Leadership: governance implications for use of IT

What the leadership principle means for the governance of IT: the governing body makes sure the use of IT is led ethically and effectively and in line with the organization's values; the organizational change this calls for can itself be supported by IT, and organizational and technological change (new IT services, for instance) have to move together for digital transformation; to get there the organization needs a learning culture that builds IT competence through a skills strategy.
