ISO/IEC 22989:2022 6.2.3: Design and development: approach, architecture, code, training data and risk treatment

What does 6.2.3 require?

The stage creates the system and ends when it is ready for verification and validation; before then stakeholders should ensure it fulfils the objectives, requirements and targets set at inception. They should determine the overall approach to designing, testing and readying the system, including whether hardware and software are both needed and where components come from (built, bought, open source); determine and document the architecture, iterating with the approach; develop or acquire code; process training data, which embodies the knowledge the system acquires; and implement the processes and controls of the risk treatment plan.
