ISO 55001:2014 6.2.1: Asset management objectives

What does 6.2.1 require?

The organization sets asset management objectives for the relevant functions and levels, taking into account in its planning what stakeholders require and any other financial, technical, legal, regulatory or organizational requirements. The objectives fit both the asset management policy and the organizational objectives; they are set and updated using the criteria for asset management decisions and within the SAMP; they are measurable where practicable and take applicable requirements into account; and they are monitored, communicated to the relevant stakeholders, and reviewed and updated when appropriate. Documented information on the objectives is kept.
