The organization shall select baseline water efficiency indicators that are suitable for tracking what its water efficiency programme achieves, and changes in performance shall be measured against them. The baseline shall be adjusted if the business activity indicators stop reflecting how the organization uses water, if processes, patterns of operation or water systems have changed, or if the documented method set in advance is departed from. Documented information on the baseline shall be retained.
