The organization shall develop and carry out a water use review, and keep it current, in order to: find the activities and functions that consume water; record how much water each uses; identify the processes and services that affect the quality of used water, so that used-water streams can be separated for recycling; and identify the activities and functions where efficiency could improve. The method and criteria for the review shall be kept as documented information. To develop the review, the organization shall analyse water use on the basis of measurements and other data (the sources used now, the activities and functions using water now, past and current use, and expected future use); use that analysis to pinpoint where water use is significant, covering the facilities, equipment, systems and processes, and the people working for the organization or on its behalf, that have a significant effect on water use, together with other relevant variables and how the facilities, equipment, systems and processes concerned currently perform; and rank and record opportunities to improve performance. The review shall be brought up to date at defined intervals and after major changes to facilities, equipment, systems or processes; measuring water use is desirable so that the water balance chart (Annex C) is accurate.
This control maps to 2 controls across 2 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 2 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
