The organization shall select business activity indicators, specific to it, that are suitable for tracking and measuring how it performs on water efficiency. It shall keep, as documented information, the method it uses to set and update them, and shall review them regularly and update them periodically where appropriate. Annex D lists examples by sector, such as units made, the mass or volume of product, guest rooms, floor area or number of people.
