ISO 30401
Clause 4 Context of the organization and the knowledge management system – ISO 30401

ISO 30401 4.2: 4.2 Understanding the needs and expectations of interested parties (stakeholders)

The organization shall identify which interested parties matter to the knowledge management system and what their relevant requirements are, and shall analyse those requirements to set priorities among the areas and contexts that count most for the organization and for the system. Needs and expectations are framed as business and organizational performance, not as knowledge management wants (shorter product development rather than quicker document search, for example), and they are judged against the organization's context, such as its culture, environment and infrastructure. Amendment 2:2024 adds a note that climate-related requirements may be among those of relevant interested parties (read in the complete amendment).
