What does B.3.2 require?

The minimum initial certification duration Ds in days is TD plus TH plus TFTE: the basic site duration for the subcategory (including one HACCP study), the days for additional HACCP studies, and the days for the FTE band. Table B.1 gives TD from 1,0 (A and B subcategories, D, FI, FII) through 1,5 (E, G, H, I, J) to 2,0 (C subcategories and K), TH of 0,25 or 0,5 per extra study, and TFTE from 0 (up to 5 FTE) to 3 (over 1 000). With several subcategories the highest TD is used and the HACCP and FTE parameters are combined. Related scheme elements audited alongside are included. At least half the duration is spent on operational food safety planning and PRP and control measure implementation. For an FSMS integrated with another relevant system the durations are calculated separately, added, and reduced by at most 20 percent according to the level of integration. Deviations from Table B.1 are justified and recorded.
