Top management sets an educational organization policy that fits the organization's purpose, gives a framework for setting objectives, commits to meeting applicable requirements and to continual improvement of the EOMS, supports the mission and vision, suits the organization's aims and context, takes in educational, scientific and technical developments, commits to social responsibility and to managing intellectual property, and responds to interested parties. The policy is kept and maintained as documented information, communicated inside the organization and made available to interested parties as appropriate (Annex D).
