ISO 15223-1:2021 5.1b: Date of manufacture and use-by date: place the date beside the symbol in ISO 8601 form

What does 5.1b require?

The date of manufacture symbol (5.1.3) is followed by the manufacturing date, and the use-by symbol (5.1.4) by the date after which the device is not to be used; each date sits next to its symbol in the ISO 8601 form required by clause 4.2. The date of manufacture symbol may be combined with the manufacturer symbol or the country of manufacture symbol.
