ISO 10006:2017 7.8.6: Contract control

What does 7.8.6 require?

Contract control begins when the contract is placed or when there is an agreement in principle to award it (a letter of intent, for example). A system is needed to ensure that the contract's conditions are met, due dates and required documented information included. Contract control should cover setting up suitable contractual relationships and folding their outputs into overall project management. Provider performance should be monitored against the contract conditions, with results fed back to the provider and any actions agreed. Before a contract is closed, confirmation is needed that every condition has been satisfied and that feedback on provider performance has been gathered to update the register of approved providers.
