Project activities should be performed and controlled as the project management plan sets out. Controlling processes includes controlling interactions between activities so that conflict and misunderstanding are kept to a minimum, and processes that use new technology need particular attention. Reviews and evaluations of activities should look for possible weaknesses and improvement opportunities, with review timing suited to the project's complexity. Review results should feed progress evaluations that assess process outputs and plan the remaining work, and the revised plan for remaining work should be documented.
