A project is a system of planned processes that depend on each other, so action in one usually affects others. The project manager is responsible for managing these planned interdependencies overall, and the project organization should also manage communication between the various groups of people involved effectively and efficiently and assign their responsibilities clearly. The interdependent processes are: starting the project and developing the project management plan (7.2.2); managing interactions (7.2.3); managing change (7.2.4); and closing processes and the project (7.2.5).
