Senior management writes and puts into effect a corporate policy that at least addresses customers, the environment, ethics and responsibility towards staff, and product safety, and makes it known to every employee. The policy is translated into measurable quality and product safety objectives that each department knows and works to, top management checks progress against all objectives no less than once a year, and information that matters for product safety and quality reaches the people who need it promptly. Under the plus module the policy also covers product requirements: quality, legality, procedures and specifications.
This control maps to 2 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 2 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
