Ethical Values Elicitation and Prioritization Process (clause 8) – IEEE 7000

IEEE 7000 8.3(c): Analyse and organize the elicited values into value clusters

What does 8.3(c) require?

The project (normally the Value Lead) shall analyse the elicited values conceptually, identify value demonstrators from stakeholder responses named with enough precision to pin down the related benefits or harms, create value clusters grouping each core value with related values and demonstrators (which simplifies traceability of requirements and design to values), check that separate values have not been wrongly merged and so lost, check with the project's stakeholders that the clusters and their descriptions represent the elicited values, and record the confirmed clusters in the Value Register.
