IEEE 7000 7.3(h): Complete the concept and context analyses and decide on further ethical treatment

What does 7.3(h) require?

The project shall identify and document the possible organizational and technical risks and improvements that bear on the ConOps; judge whether the concept's possible ethical harms and benefits call for more work in the requirements and design, meaning whether the concept warrants a dedicated value analysis and a risk assessment (if the organization cannot expect to control the system and its design it can narrow the scope to exclude the ethical value requirements or terminate the project); and refine the ConOps as prioritised values, ethical value requirements and design characteristics develop.
