Published terms shall be presented in the forms, at the times and in the ways that children engage with, and what they say shall itself be age appropriate; simpler wording is only part of it. After this process the organization shall be able to show that children of the ages using the service, and parents and caretakers too, can understand the published terms; that the terms come in formats children understand and relate to; that every interaction aims at engagement that is ongoing and meaningful, at regular intervals and at the crucial moments, among them each time consent is sought or needed; that the terms suit children in diverse settings and contexts; that children across a wide range of abilities can access them; that they reflect the service truthfully; and that they deliver an age appropriate service.
