Every year, ahead of the certification body audit, the producer carries out a documented self-assessment if it is an individual producer or, for producer groups and multisite operations with a QMS, an internal audit of the farms and the QMS. It assesses compliance, reviews how the standard is being applied and identifies opportunities to improve, and covers every applicable topic within the scope, including work done by subcontractors such as harvest and postharvest operations, as well as every site and product. For each Major Must or Minor Must marked not applicable or not met, the self-assessment records comments on the evidence seen; comments in internal farm audits follow the producer-group rules. A programme of site inspections, with a frequency based on risk, keeps sites and equipment maintained in support of food safety.
This control maps to 1 controls across 1 other frameworks. If you already hold one of them, the evidence you collected for it is the starting point here rather than new work.
Every mapping shown was judged rather than inferred from wording similarity, and the ones that failed review are published too. See the coverage reports and what was rejected.
The graph holds this control, the 1 it maps to, and the evidence behind each claim, over MCP and REST.
