Part Four, Division Five: staff policy, vocational training and individual staff measures – Germany Works Constitution Act (BetrVG)

Germany Works Constitution Act (BetrVG) s92a: s 92a Discuss the council's proposals to secure employment and give reasons for rejecting them

The council may propose measures to secure and promote employment (flexible working time, part-time and partial retirement, new work organisation, changed procedures, qualification, alternatives to outsourcing, production and investment programmes). The employer must discuss them; if it considers them unsuitable it gives reasons, in writing where the establishment has over 100 employees. Either side may involve someone from the Federal Employment Agency.
