FAA AC 20-152A - Development Assurance for Airborne Electronic Hardware CD-3: CD-3 Validation of all custom device requirements

All custom device requirements, derived and non-derived alike, are validated through the DO-254 Section 6 validation process, because requirements refined, decomposed or restated at device level must also be correct and complete; for DAL A and B the validation is done with independence (Appendix A of DO-254 gives acceptable means).
