EU REACH Regulation (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006) 37.5: Downstream users: identify, apply and pass on the risk management measures that adequately control risks

What does 37.5 require?

Every downstream user must select, implement and, where it makes sense, pass on the measures that keep under adequate control the risks shown in the safety data sheets it receives, in its own chemical safety assessment, or in the Article 32 information supplied to it. Where it relies on the below-one-tonne exemption it must still consider its uses and apply the risk management measures needed, putting them in any safety data sheet it prepares.
