Notified bodies must inform their notifying authority of any refusal, restriction, suspension or withdrawal of a certificate, of anything affecting the scope or conditions of their notification, and of information requests received from market surveillance authorities, and on request of the assessment and other activities they performed, including cross-border work and subcontracting. They must give other bodies notified for similar activities on the same products the relevant information on negative results and, on request, positive ones, including the EU-type examination certificates refused, withdrawn, suspended or restricted, and keep copies of certificates and the technical file until the certificate expires.
